In the Amantaytau pit - Centre:   Explanation in the pit before   Left & Top right:  breaking and studying oxide ore.   Bottom right:  Breaking sulphide zone ore in altered and veined carbonaceous host with massive sulphide veins in the base of the pit.   The latter is the same as is to be worked in the underground phase of the operation.   Photographs by Mike Porter
