Muruntau Lookout:   On the morning of Friday 15 September, the Tour group was driven to the Muruntau mine office for an induction before proceeding to the lookout where Vadim Bychkov (centre with white hard hat and striped shirt), Chief Geologist for the Muruntau mine pointed out the outlines of the orebody, discussed the deposit and answered queries, as well as indicating the areas the group would visit during the remainder of the day.   Photographs by Mike Porter
