Museum visit.   As part of the Tashkent Workshop, the tour participants visited the Geological Museum at the university in Tashkent to study the extensive collection of ore and host specimens from all of the significant gold deposits of Uzbekistan as well as three dimensional models and geological maps of the key orebodies, guided by the curators and expert geologists.   Photographs by Mike Porter
