Sepon Mines  -  Following the briefings and core inspection, the remainder of the day was spent in the gold and copper mines of the Sepon Mineral District with Paul Quigley and Dan Oldeberg.  Left:  mining supergene chalcocite clay in the Khanong pit.  Right:  in the upper benches of the Discovery West carbonate hosted "invisible gold" pit.  On the following day the group returned to Bangkok.
