Guests of Zijin Mining  -  While at the Zijinshan Mine, the group was initially given a geological briefing on the epithermal/porphyry Au-Cu deposit and its setting, illustrated by detailed plans and sections, by Mr Zheng (Head of Geology Department, Zijinshan Mine), translated by Gina Dong (Sino-QZ Group, Australia).  Following the mine visit and lunch, the group was asked to provide discussion on their impressions of the deposit and comparisons with similar mines elsewhere in the world with an audience of Zijin Group geologists.  Throughout the visit the group was treated to excellent hospitality as guests of the Zijin Group.
