Looking for gold in specimens from the Sunrise mine, from the left - Roric Smith (AngloGold, Exploraton, Perth), Jim Anderson (Johnson's Well Mining, Kalgoorlie), and Ron Netolitzky (Viceroy Resource Corp, Canada).
NOTE: As on the previous image, the pit walls are coated with a brilliant crust of white salt crystals, evaporated from the hypersaline ground water seeping from Lake Carey.
