Panoramic view of the Mantoverde pit.    Following a comprehensive office briefing on the setting, geology, alteration and mineralisation of the Mantoverde group of deposits, the tour group was given an overview of the geology of the Mantoverde ore zones from the mirador above the string of pits which extend long the Mantoverde Fault, before descending into a number of the pits to inspect the ore, hosts and alteration.   Photographs by Mike Porter
