The  World's  Key  Ore  Deposits  &  Mineral  Provinces

We can forward clean copies of key papers describing most of the significant mineral deposits of the world - directly to you - anywhere on the globe.

This service is based on our specialist literature reference COLLECTIONS composed of 3290 selected descriptive papers from the published literature on 1328 ore deposits and mineral provinces world-wide.

Our literature COLLECTIONS are AWARENESS LISTINGS of papers that we have identified by scanning the international literature.   Each paper has been selected because it includes descriptive information on significant ore deposits and/or mineral provinces.   The individual COLLECTIONS are groupings of papers, based on a geographic or ore type theme or by commodity.

These COLLECTIONS allow you to conveniently identify papers of interest to you.   Then, if requested, we can arrange to secure copies of any papers you nominate and forward them to you through our LITERATURE SERVICE.   Alternatively you may obtain copies from your own company library or other document delivery services.

As a research aid there is also a free, on-line geological description of each of the ore deposits/provinces for which papers are listed in the COLLECTIONS.

All papers provided are reproduced under an internationally recognised copyright licence with royalty fees levied for the benefit of copyright owners.

The COLLECTIONS include the papers from the 39 special literature compilations that were selected for participants on the Porter GeoConsultancy  International Study Tour  series of professional development courses (the TOUR Compilations).

You may purchase all of the papers in any of these special TOUR COLLECTIONS at a discount, or select any combination of individual papers you require from one or more collections, on a sliding scale cost per paper basis.

In addition, to ensure the service is comprehensive we have scanned the literature to collect other descriptive papers on the deposits and provinces NOT covered by the TOUR Collections, -and- subsequent & further papers on those deposits that were covered.

These additional papers are presented as another set of COLLECTIONS, the MORE Groupings, with each paper being allocated to both commodity -and- geographic listings.

You may select any combination of individual papers you require from these MORE Groupings.

The Literature Service is fully integrated with the PGC Publishing Book Purchase e-commerce sytem allowing you to select PGC Publishing BOOKS in the same transaction.

On taking the Literature Service option you are presented with the Listing Options screen.   This allows your to select from the following:
